Vigil, one of Europe’s leading technology consultancies is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Till Becker, former Daimler Division Chairman & CEO as Vigil’s new Chairman of the Board. Dr. Becker was formerly Chairman and CEO of DaimlerChrysler Northeast Asia and a Deputy Board Member of DaimlerChrysler AG worldwide.

Dr. Becker brings his deep experience in corporate leadership to the Vigil board with insights gained from decades of leadership in some of the most critical posts in the global automotive industry. In addition to his role in Vigil, Dr. Becker is also a Non-Executive Board Member of Vantage Power and a Director of Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. listed on NASDAQ. Dr. Becker has previously held positions of President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz in Turkey and Portugal, CEO of Daimler India and board member of TATA Motors.
